We have quality staff and volunteers to help you with BBCR being able to offer services in the Illawarra region from Helensburgh in the north to Durras Lake in the southern region of the Shoalhaven.

Empowered Living (CHSP)

Designed for people who mostly manage on their own but might need some short term help or basic ongoing assistance with one or two services.

Home Care Packages

We provide a greater level of support and enables you to create a tailored support package that will work for you.

Short-Term Restorative Package Care

STRC is delivered in the form of a tailored, multidisciplinary package of services which includes the provision of services and assistance.

BBCR Community Space

The Sanctuary Point Community Centre is a busy and vibrant hub. It’s a place where new friendships are made; people have fun, new skills are learnt and you can get involved in your community.

Community Radio 92.7FM

The only permanent licensed community broadcast radio station in the Bay & Basin region, Community Radio 92.7FM is one of BBCR’s most exciting programs.

BBCR Activities Hub

A range of activities, projects, and workshops is available. The program caters to a variety of interests and participants, with males of all ages in attendance.

The Retreat @ Paradise Cottage

Offering Carers an opportunity to book community access overnight short stay accommodation (up to 4 nights) for the person they care for.

Our People

Over 160 workers including volunteers, who are all local community residents, give from their heart to make a difference to others. The feedback we receive from people we work with is that the staff and volunteers are amazing “they are just so caring, sharing and giving of themselves and their time to make us happy” This is the culture we promote at BBCR, we look after our staff and volunteers, we treat them with respect and listen to what they need, this flows through to the families they work with.

BBCR has an excellent staff and volunteer retention record. Staff are all qualified and experienced in their given professions. BBCR maintains a comprehensive training calendar and database to ensure currency of Federal Police checks, Working with Children and other compliance checks.

Along with our volunteer Board, CEO and enthusiastic staff plus our wonderful dedicated team of volunteers we have the ability to build social capital and bring communities together.
