Not a dry eye in the house as we all farewelled Gail at her special morning tea.
It was a very emotional farewell to our BBCR long term employee, Gail Carlie who has been the friendly face of the Sanctuary Point Youth and Community Centre for the past 19 years.
Gail is a well-known, very much loved and admired member of our local community, she has a smile and laugh that brightens your day. Known for always being willing and able to do what she can to help everyone who entered the Community Centre. Gail has assisted thousands of community members, hall hirers and volunteers in her role as the Centre’s Administration Assistant.
I am not sure what we will all do without our Gail was a common theme of comment from colleagues at the morning tea, she is our go to person, and is just so wonderful and we are all so spoilt from the support, which Gail has provided to us all. Nothing has every been too much trouble for Gail, she finds the resources, resolves the issues and goes the extra mile as a team member, we will all miss her so very, very much.
The morning tea and some dinner dates provided the opportunity for us to acknowledge and thank Gail for the many years of dedication to the community. We all wished Gail well for her retirement and the families move interstate. More of Gail’s BBCR’s story can be found on our website bbcri.com.au
