Bay & Basin Men’s Shed

One of Bay & Basin Community Resources most invaluable programs is The Bay & Basin Men’s Shed. The shed is located at 18 Sanctuary point Rd, and is available to male residents living in the local area. A range of activities, projects, and workshops is available. The program caters to a variety of interests and participants, with males of all ages in attendance. Many of our projects and events are multigenerational. We are proud to support a diverse population from many different backgrounds and experiences, including those living with disabilities and those with economic or social disadvantages.

Our varied selection of activities, events, and projects includes:

  • Woodworking
  • Art (painting, photography)
  • Music (including our popular ‘Pirate Band’)
  • Radio production
  • Media skills
  • Carpentry
  • White card course
  • Men’s discussion group
  • Guest speakers
  • Other workshops
  • Support services

Hours:

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 9am-3.30pm
Friday: 9am-12pm
