Sue Clifton has worked at BBCRI since 1998. Initially employed as Respite/Neighbour Aid Coordinator, in 2000 she was promoted to Aged Care Manager and took on the responsibility of 75% of the organisation. Sue is also the Public Officer for BBCRI.
In July 2002 she then progressed to take on management responsibilites of the whole organisation as General Manager. In the following twelve months, Sue worked closely with the BBCRI Management Committee and staff to further develop necessary infrastructure.
Sue works with a wide network of individuals including government departments, Ministers and associated organisations so that her team is able to provide effective high level services that meet the best practice standards.
Her qualifications include Nursing, Community Welfare and Management & Workplace Training. Recently she gained a scholarship through the Royal College of Nursing to complete studies in Masters of Age Service Management through Charles Sturt University.
With a strong background in providing community based aged care services, Sue is committed to enhancing all BBCRI services to meet the changing needs in the community.
Sue has been involved in clinical and geriatric nursing, specialising in dementia management. Sue has also delivered training and development programs in Aged Care through her past experience as a Tafe NSW Teacher.

Sue's 10th Anniversary celebration with staff. She has lobbied over the past 10 years to gain services for the youth in the local area, and older residents in the wider Shoalhaven and Illawarra region.
