About Us

The Bay & Basin Community Resources Inc. was established in 1990 by caring and concerned individuals who gave their time voluntarily to meet a need in the community. The newly formed Management Committee responded to a call for action to lobby for funds to implement community services in the local area.

BBCRI is a community based, not for profit organisation, operating as a 'non government', independent entity. The organisation's growth and development has followed the path of identifying needs in the community and providing services to meet those needs. BBCRI's Mission Statement outlines the organisation's aims and objectives.

BBCRI staff are funded under various agreements with the state and federal governments. We are neither a government department nor part of Shoalhaven City Council.

The Management Committee and BBCRI staff are not only committed to providing the existing services, but will continue to lobby all levels of government for improved and new services for the region.

As a community organisation we will continue to seek information from the community to determine the ongoing and future needs of the Bay & Basin area.

Vision
