BACKGROUND

92.7 Bay & Basin FM is the only community radio station to exclusively serve the Jervis Bay and St George's Basin region. Based in Sanctuary Point on the south coast of New South Wales, we broadcast to a potential listening base in excess of 20,000 people.

We also form part of the many community services provided by Bay & Basin Community Resources Inc (BBCRI).
PRESENTERS
The station is operated by a group of 40 dedicated volunteers with a strong focus on having fun while serving the local community.
Unlike many FM and local radio stations, Bay & Basin FM truly reflects the demographics and musical tastes of its listening base.
With presenters ranging from teenagers to octogenerians, we guarantee there is something for everyone.
LOCAL SERVICES
Community radio is not just about the music, however.
Bay & Basin FM keeps you abreast of local issues, community events and charity fundraisers.  There are frequent local weather updates and daily coastal water reports for all sailors and fishermen.
We also conduct regular outside broadcasts in the area, covering numerous community and local sporting events.
SPONSORSHIP
The daily operation of Bay & Basin FM would not be possible without the kind contributions of our sponsors.
To find out how you can become a sponsor and increase your profile within the community, please go to our sponsors page.

For more information on becoming a sponsor of the station or organising an outside broadcast at your next event please contact Radio Coordinator Brad Slaughter on 444 39 244

FUNDRAISING

Whilst operating a community radio station is alot of fun and provides a vital link to keeping the local community entertained and informed.....bottom line it costs money.

Bay & Basin FM relies solely on sponsorships and fundraising to cover the associated costs of day to day operations which include transmission site fees, APRA/ AMCOS license fees, subscriptions and repairs & maintenance of equipment to name a few!

By supporting our fundraising events throughout the year you are effectiveley keeping us ON AIR!
